About

Domenica is a skilled Pennsylvania licensed psychotherapist, in the Philadelphia suburbs, with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in grief and bereavement, helping those who are faced with debilitating or terminal illness, or are grieving the loss of a loved one. Additionally, Domenica works with those struggling with anxiety and depression, relationship issues, and individual and family counseling. Domenica is here to help you through your journey through life’s toughest trials.

Domenica believes that each person must make their own journey along the path that leads from loss to wholeness. “Each person facing a loss has their own transformation through which they must pass,” she says “Some find solace in their religious practice, others in the comfort of friends or family.” Domenica finds joy in helping her clients learn to grow and strengthen in the midst of life’s toughest moments.

Domenica approaches her therapy through posing questions and proposing ideas, as well as offering tools and techniques to equip you for your journey to life-giving peace. She invites new perspectives and helps tackle soul-searching questions. Her goal is that clients can make healthy, productive, life-affirming choices that represent their very best selves.

Her experiences with grief in her own life are wide reaching and vary greatly – allowing her to approach her therapy with empathy and compassion. She is no stranger to grief and presents tactics that helped her through her own journey through losing a loved one.

Domenica is a mother to five, a grandmother, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found conversing while out on walks with her dog, Bingley. Domenica enjoys reading for her numerous book clubs, watching her favorite murder mysteries, cooking, baking, or knitting by the fire after a long day.
